(10:00 – 11:00 am) Tara Duggan—food journalist, and cookbook author in San Francisco—joins us for a food demonstration out of her newly published book, Roots-to-Stalk Cooking: The Art of Using the Whole Vegetable.
Tara Duggan is a James Beard award–winning journalist and cookbook author. A staff writer at the San Francisco Chronicle, Tara has published work in the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Denver Post, Toronto Star, Shape, California, and The Bay Citizen.
Trained as a chef at San Francisco’s California Culinary Academy, Tara has written several cookbooks, including The Blue Bottle Craft of Coffee (Ten Speed, 2012) and Waffles(Weldon-Owen, 2011).
